SPORTS SUMMIT and MADCUP-MADISS will present the second edition of Sports Summit Madrid, which will be held on 17 and 18 June 2026 at IFEMA MADRID, coinciding with the MADCUP event. This project has the support of the World Tourism Organisation (UN Tourism), the CEOE and the Union of Sports Federations of Madrid (UFEDEMA).
Sports Summit Madrid is a major international congress and exhibition that brings together all of the sports industries and sectors related to grass-roots and professional sport. The sports industry will come together in this space with tourism, education, audiovisual, media, health and well-being, sustainability, innovation, technology and the textile sector. It is a unique opportunity to foster networking among professionals from these sectors.
Following on from the success of the first edition in 2025, which attracted 8,600 visitors, 140 exhibitors and 268 speakers, global leaders, leagues, brands, institutions, start-ups and investors will be back this year to boost the future of the sports industry through innovation, collaboration and business development.
The second edition is set to be even more ambitious with three auditoriums, STEM Racing, an arena and exhibition area, as well as new proposals that will extend the experience for visitors. For Sports Summit Madrid 2026, key sporting institutions and the latest exhibition brands have joined, including ADESP, Kromex, Euneiz, Next Era and UCAM .
The aims of this congress include: stimulating entrepreneurship and networking among sports professionals and associated fields (tourism, education, health, innovation, sustainability, environment, textile, communication and audiovisual); fostering female and inclusive sport; promoting sport as a prevention tool and to improve physical health and well-being; bringing sport to companies, society and the media; fostering and consolidating school and university sports.
It also aims to reconcile and adapt academic curricula to sport; create the largest job network for the sports industry and related sectors; generate knowledge and instruments to increase the competitiveness of the sports industry; explore alliances to make governance more efficient, along with public-private, private-private and public-public collaboration channels; and foster sustainability in sport across three dimensions: social, environmental and economic.
